For those of you who may wish to join us in reaching more people with these messages about Our Timeless Creator, we welcome your help, but first please read through the following:

The Scripture is clear about giving. We are told in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, “He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver”.

Unfortunately the underlined portion is glossed over or even left out of messages about giving. The importance of this can’t be overstated if the emphasis is where it should be, to develop mature cheerful givers.

As an explanation we offer this: On special occasions such as Christmas it can come with a sense of obligation; if you received a gift in the past from someone then you feel you should respond with one. This falls under the “necessity” of giving.

It becomes “grudgingly” if you are only giving because it’s a special occasion, and many times this is accompanied with feelings of resentment because it is only done out of duty.

To become a cheerful giver requires a heartfelt desire to do something special for the recipient. At this point the focus shifts from a need, to one that expresses your affection, and the effort takes on a sense of excitement and anticipation in making this an unforgettable event for the recipient. To add to this, Jesus told his disciples in John 14:15, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” When we do something because of love it brings joy in expressing our affection for the person.

Sadly we have way too many who give and serve because of the need and it has become a routine where the feelings of being a “cheerful giver” are only a distant memory.

With that in mind we welcome any help from those who have it in their heart to help reach the millions who have never heard even a single message on the glory of God, a main theme throughout the Universe and the Bible for everyone.

For the lost: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11

For believers we are told: “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

With all that said, this is God’s plan for those who desire to help in this work; “Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:6-9
